In addition to music, radio is a great interest. I hold the FCC Extra
Class Amateur Radio license KF8QL, which keeps me active building
electronics, and antennas, as well as experimenting with radio
frequencies from 1.8MHz to 10GHz.
But technology is only part of the Amateur Radio service. Public service
in times of emergencies, and the life-long friendships that develop from
shared, technical interests are two other big things I enjoy about radio.
